The NPR story about investigatingpower.org displays the value of a source like this one. I like how the NPR story explains some of the website and it does an excellent job of showing the necessity to have a website like this one. I also like show once the conversation moved away from strictly the content of the website, Robert Siegal begins to ask Charles Lewis questions that reveal Lewis’s opinions and thoughts about more contemporary journalism as well as journalism of the past. They speak of the “golden age” when investigative reporting was at its strongest, and lewis says that he hopes there will be another one.

After exploring investigatingpower.org I began to really appreciate this website. I think that the collection of information that they have managed to gather is amazing and it gave me a different sense of the history behind investigative journalism.
